Friends, are you sabotaging your own success? That Friends, are you sabotaging your own success? That is a CRAP πŸ’©way to exist!
I've been there! For years I let the bullshit play out in my head and I believed that I couldn't be worthy of my dreams. Is your brain telling you that something is impossible...that you can't afford the time or energy...that this is the life you deserve? Self-deprecating thoughts WILL block you from the path you desire...I guarantee it! When we allow a perceived obstacle to take over our state of mind, we are handing over our power. Instead, you can change your thinking and step into your own potential! This isn't a woo-woo kinda suggestion...this is an ACTION you take to grab the future you desire and YOU DESERVE ❀️ Begin by paying attention to as many thoughts as you can. This is a practice, it's mindful and you CAN do it! When you recognize a negative thought - replace it with a POWER THOUGHT.
Example: I'm stressed by a work deadline, my tummy tightens, I'm irritable and I realize my thought is "I'll never get this done!" Nasty self-defeater πŸ‘Ώ The moment I realize the thought I battle it with "I WILL do this job well, I WILL focus on what I can do NOW to achieve completion. I am capable and AWESOME at my job."✨ BAM - empowerment πŸ™Œ Our experiences are truly up to us. We choose to roll along, sleeping and doing the same patterns and get the same results OR we RISE above our past self-image and push it aside and replace it with our TRUE SELF.
In the past I worked hard and yet didn't show up t In the past I worked hard and yet didn't show up to pick up my high school or college diplomas? Who does that? After a car accident years ago I was told after many, many tests and neuro assessments that I will never work again...but that was unacceptable to me. I have been fortunate enough to find ways that my brain can learn...and retain info.
Over the past year I have dedicated myself to these diplomas. I am proudly certified as a Professional Life Coach and Professional Recovery Coach!!! Never limit yourself friends...with God anything is possible.
I am excited to have a surprise visit from @macmix I am excited to have a surprise visit from @macmixing here in Ontario!
In 2016 my marketing company hosted a cruise with influencers and Dom and I connected right away. Having sober friends around the world who I met virtually just feels right and when I have the chance to spend time in person it is epic! Build your community friends...it is a valuable tool!
My new daily routine is wicked awesome! Recently I My new daily routine is wicked awesome! Recently I changed things up and have carved out time for my body and my spirit every morning Usually I would wake up, say a quick prayer as I made my coffee and moved right into my day. I noticed it's been difficult to ground myself when things are chaotic so i began this new practice to put my armour on for my day 20 mins yoga and onto 15 minutes of prayer and gratitude meditation This time has changed me. i am so much more focused on what really matters. It isn't my nature to slow down like this at the beginning of my day which actually is why I do it My nature is to barrel through life...go, go, go! This self care spiritual practice allows me time with God and my true self and BAM = a much more relaxed and serene me
Any day I do Sober is sooo much better than the da Any day I do Sober is sooo much better than the days when I numbed Who is with me today? Listen life can be a bitch...we can't be sure even one day will be smooth but what I know is that my response to life will be much smoother if I am clear headed, sober and connected with myself
Happy Thanksgiving 🍁 Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ This is a Happy Thanksgiving 🍁 Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ This is a weekend where many people choose to gather with family and friends to give thanks...and for many sober people it is HARD We are grateful everyday for the changes in our lives but sitting at a table with family who are drinking all around us can be triggering as hell Tips: 🍁 BYOB. Make it drinks you love 🍁 Arrive early or very close to dinner 🍁 Speak to everyone...ask about them and their lives to begin connections 🍁 Have a plan to leave early if it is too much 🍁 Go to meetings or your sobriety practice to strengthen yourself before and after If facing an event with people drinking booze is too much...decline with thanks and meet the people you want for lunch after There are no apologies necessary for protecting your recovery
17 years married! We have been through some STUFF 17 years married!
We have been through some STUFF and we are stronger together This life isn't one we would have predicted.. with mental health issues, my addictions, the challenging raising of kids, financial scares....and yet we have always been honest with each other By turning TO each other and God and honestly giving and taking we have supported each other and loved through the tough times Your patience, understanding and insight are amazing and I'm blessed to have you as my chosen life partner
I can be my own worst enemy...struggling for perfe I can be my own worst enemy...struggling for perfection rather than realizing the progress I am making in each day For me perfection isn't an option! In recovery I have learned that it is ok to be an imperfect human...in fact it is glorious Each day I try to do better. I ground myself in my faith and remain aware of my inner thoughts and outward behavior When we feed our soul with positive thoughts...we see the God winks throughout our day
